•1×7: means 1 strand (single strand), each strand is twisted by 7 steel wires.
•1 steel wire in the center + 6 steel wires in the outer layer, spirally wound (similar to a concentric circle structure).
•Usually single-layer twisted, compact structure, high tensile strength, but poor flexibility.
1. Control cables or cables
– Such as bicycle brake cables, motorcycle throttle cables, control cables of mechanical equipment, etc.
2. Low-flexibility load scenarios
– Used to fix, support or transmit linear tension, such as outdoor ropes, clotheslines, etc.
3. Industrial fields
