1. Product Overview

– Standards and grades: G80 chain complies with EN818-2 standard, strength grade is 80, breaking strength ≥ 800 MPa, safety factor is 4 times (i.e. breaking force is 4 times of rated load).

– Material: Made of high-quality alloy steel (such as 20Mn2), the strength is improved through heat treatment and tempering process, and some products add elements such as Cr, Ni, Mo to enhance corrosion resistance.

– Surface treatment: Supports polishing, blackening, electrogalvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, spraying and other processes to meet different environmental requirements.

2. Product Features

– High safety: Through 2.5 times working tensile test, the breaking tensile force is 4 times of the rated load, ensuring reliability under extreme conditions.

– Customized service: Supports non-standard customization, specifications cover 6mm to 42mm, length, surface treatment method, etc. can be adjusted as needed.

– Corrosion resistance: Some models use anti-corrosion technology (such as galvanizing, electrophoresis), suitable for humid or corrosive environments.

3. Application fields

– Hoisting equipment: hand chain hoist, electric chain hoist, sling, etc.

– Industry and infrastructure: port loading and unloading, bridge construction, mining, factory production line hoisting.

– Special scenarios: anti-corrosion chains for mining, anti-entanglement chains for hatch covers, etc.

4. Purchase and maintenance recommendations

– Purchase points:

– Confirm the specifications and load requirements, and give priority to products that meet EN818-2 or DIN5685 standards.

– Select the surface treatment process according to the use environment (such as hot-dip galvanizing for outdoor use).

– Maintenance and scrapping standards:

– Regularly check the chain link for deformation, cracks or rust, and scrap it if the wear exceeds 10% of the diameter.

– Avoid mixing new and old chains, and replace the chain when the elongation exceeds 5% of the original length.

– Lubrication needs to penetrate into the gap between the roller and the inner sleeve to reduce wear.
