G80 wing hook is a high-strength hook used with G80-grade lifting chains, mainly used for the connection and length adjustment of chain hoists. Its design features a “wing-like” structure that increases the contact area with the chain and disperses the force, thereby reducing chain wear, extending service life, and improving lifting safety.
– Material: Forged with high-quality alloy steel (such as 35CrMo), quenched and tempered to ensure high strength and toughness.
– Surface treatment: Plastic spraying process (common colors are red or yellow) to enhance corrosion resistance.
– Safety design: Some models are equipped with cast safety tongues or anti-slip devices (such as European sliding hooks) to prevent accidental slippage of the chain.
– Verification test: Tensile test of 2.5 times the working load is carried out piece by piece.
– Fatigue test: Sampling is tested for 20,000 cycles at 1.5 times the working load.
– Flaw detection: 100% magnetic particle inspection to ensure no crack defects.
– Batch sampling: Each batch is tested for breaking to ensure quality consistency.
– Hoisting and lifting: Cooperate with chain slings for cargo lifting in factories, ports and other scenarios.
– Logging operations: some models (such as ram’s horn forest hooks) are used to tie and drag wood.
– Special industries: Suitable for fields such as construction and shipbuilding that require high-load lifting.
– Overloading is strictly prohibited: During use, it is necessary to strictly operate according to the rated working load to avoid chain deformation or breakage.
– Regular inspection: Pay attention to the wear of the hook body and the state of the surface coating, and replace damaged parts in time.
– Adaptive chain: Only use with G80-level chain to ensure force matching.
