G80 eye-type self-locking hook is a high-strength safety hook, mainly used in conjunction with G80-grade chains, with a self-locking function to ensure load safety.

1. Materials and processes

– Forged with high-strength alloy steel (such as 35CrMo) and heat-treated, it has high toughness and fatigue resistance.

– The surface treatment is a spray-coated process, and the common colors are red plastic and yellow plastic, which supports customization.

2. Structural design

– It consists of a hook body, a swing arm and a self-locking device:

– The swing arm is pivoted to the hook body through rivets, and when closed, the self-locking key and the card recess are engaged to fix the position to prevent accidental opening.

– The self-locking device contains a spring and an elastic cylindrical pin, which can be opened and closed quickly by the tooth operation.

– The hook body, the swing arm eye and the rivet site are designed on the same vertical line to ensure balanced force.

3. Performance parameters

– Working load range: 1.12T to 31.5T, corresponding specifications such as 6-8, 32-8, etc.

– Piece-by-piece verification test: Verification is performed at 2.5 times the working load.

– Fatigue test: Sampling is tested for 20,000 cycles at 1.5 times the working load.

– Magnetic particle inspection: 100% crack detection to ensure that there are no internal defects.

4 Application and compatibility

– Designed specifically for G80-grade chains, it complies with the EU EN818-2 standard and is suitable for lifting, hoisting and other scenarios.

– Warning: It is necessary to ensure that it is used with compatible chain components to avoid safety hazards caused by mismatch.

5 Precautions

– Overload is strictly prohibited, and the self-locking device and structural integrity must be checked regularly.

– Specifications, materials and certification standards must be clearly specified when purchasing to ensure that they meet actual needs.
